Results – Thurs 4 May — Update for Chiang Mai vs. Chiang Rai Competition

Today at Santiburi we had five members:  5Points, Graham, Brian, Bruce G, and Bruce K.  The course was in very good condition, as the greens have not yet been cored and sanded.  The maintenance they are currently doing consists of aerating the fairways, and once they aerate and pick up the thatch that comes up as a result, the fairways are in pretty good shape.  We are expecting the greenskeeper to core and sand greens 1 – 9 in short order, but it hasn’t happened yet.

Since there were few patrons and the forecast was for temperatures near 40 degrees Celcius, we split the five players into two and three to get around faster.  Bruce G had the lowest Stableford score, but won the most skins.  Graham had the highest Stableford score but broke even.  Here are the results:

Stableford Winner:  Graham (35 Points)

Stableford Runner Up:  Bruce K (31 Points)

Closest to the pin:

#3:  Brian

#7:  No One

#12:  Bruce G (x2)

#17:  Bruce G

5Points (25):  29 Points / 5 Skins / 0 Baht (Broke Even)

Graham (20):  35 Points / 5 Skins / 0 Baht (Broke Even)
