Another spectacular day for golf. Now that we are in the cool dry season, and the major maintenance projects appear to be completed, we are hopeful that the golf is going to start getting really good at Santiburi. The course is in pretty good condition, with fairways, greens, bunkers and rough areas all in excellent shape.
There were four participants today, all members. We played our normal skins game from the blue tees. All four players each won a closest-to-the-pin prize. Both 5Points and Egbert birdied hole 12 (worth four skins) to push it to the 13th hole, where Graham slipped in with a par to win five skins. That hole proved decisive, as Graham took home the lion’s share and everyone else were donating to Graham’s retirement fund to some extent. Here are the results:
